Manchester Centre for Genomic Medicine

The Manchester Centre for Genomic Medicine (MCGM) is an integrated and multidisciplinary facility which brings together NHS patient services and genomic researchers to provide excellent clinical care, enhance our understanding of genomic disorders and translate this knowledge to enable improvements in clinical care. Genomic information is revolutionising healthcare for patients with both common and rare diseases including both inherited and non-inherited cancer.

MCGM is one of the UK’s largest genetics centres with in excess of 330 staff and this enables us to offer a wide range of routine and specialist genomic services. MCGM is located in St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and includes the following NHS services;
